Summer Days

This summer has been a calm time.  Not sure if it has to do with the meditating being practised or the Holosync recordings that have been immersed in.

This season, while extremely hot and humid at times, has been spent learning and growing.  Summertime is always a great time to read (mind you I think that about all the seasons).  For every work of fiction that is consumed, a self-help book gets equal time.

Also a mode of art, that is of interest, has been enjoyed to the fullest.  ‘One art form feeding the other’ springs to mind while working and gaining knowledge.

Admittedly, after the summer of 2015 which was a traumatic year full of horrific revelations about a person who should have been a trusted family member.  9/11 pales in comparison.  (I may be exaggerating here). (Ok, I am).

Still, as the upheaval settles down there is left a notion of choice.  To be grateful for everything in the present or continue to hold on to resentment and anger about the past.  Needless to say, the former has been chosen and while forgiveness may not be completely achieved, there is no longer any hard feelings.  The chips will fall where they may.

The reason for such a fabulous time may be the fact that there are no regrets for a life lived helping and serving another who is in need at the moment.  No one deserves to be sent away out of inconvenience.

This is one summer that shall be looked on with fondness.  Simply siting outside, with a warm breeze refreshing the hot and humid air has been beneficial.

I wish all may experience this rejuvenation.  It has been a wonderful summer.
