Words like ‘prosperity’, ‘success’ and ‘rich’, while exciting are in the end only words. Can one have no money and still be labelled with these terms? Of course. It takes no funds to be ‘rich in spirit’ or to be ‘successful at tying your shoelaces’. To ‘prosper in gaining friends’, one does not have to be backed by the greenback (although in political circles that may not be true).
Yet, few people think of themselves as being prosperous unless they have gads of cash. Maybe, we humble masses aught to take back these nouns? I am sure there are far more people successfully loving their families, prospering to pay the bills, and living in the richness of their beautiful daily lives.
Sometimes, the simple things in life are not only more important but priceless.
